change from joomsocial to cb

I have a site running with J 1.5 and Joomsocial.
I don't like joomsocial and want to change to cb.
What do I have to do.
Can I just uninstall Joomsocial and install CB?

Interesting decision and direction
There is no one-click solution IMHO.
The only things that I know of are:

- Joomlarra User Export Import (used to have support for JomSocial, maybe dropped)

- JomSocial User Import Export by Joomlaxi (COMMERCIAL, creates CSV files)

- CBjuice (FREE, imports CSV files to CB)


BTW, Google and the J!ED are your best friends

I didn't find anything at google because I didn't know what I have to search....

I know that it is no 1-Click thing...

I have now installed the Joomlarra.

Is it the right way?:

Next step is to deinsallt joomsocial, than install CB

Joomsocial was a gift from a friend, but it never works in the way I wanted...
Many features that never works.....
So now I want to delete this sh...

I don't know your user data and your fields.
Joomlarra had support for JomSocial in an earlier version... i can´t speak for the current one.
Did it export all your jomsocial extra fields?

You have to make sure what the CSV file structure is! It has to match the CSV file, that CBjuice can read! Maybe its a good idea to play with CBjuice. I just used it for a little task. So, i can´t really assist you.

Not nessecarily... you can keep both components side by side.

Even though, keep a backup. Or keep JomSocial installed until you are ready with CB.
