Legacy mode needed for 1.8?

Hi,

We have CB 1.4 installed on our Joomla 1.5.24 site. When you go to Extensions > Components it is showing comprofiler version as 1.2 and needing Legacy mode. Yet when you go to Components > Community Builder > Configuration it shows the version as 1.4.

I just upgraded to CB 1.8, but under the Extensions > Components it is still showing comprofiler as having 1.2 installed and needing Legacy mode enabled. Now when you go to Components > Community Builder > Configuration it shows the version as 1.8 as Your Version.

Does 1.8 need Legacy mode and why isn't the Extension list showing the correct version being installed? Is there a way to get it to display the correct version?

No CB 1.8 installs just fine on any Joomla version (1.0, 1.5 and 2.5).

There is no need for Joomla 1.5 legacy to be enabled. You can easily test this on a clean Joomla 1.5 site without legacy enabled and you will see that it installs just fine.
