Cannot Edit User info in Backend

Joomla 2.5.6 CB 1.8.1

I am unable to edit anything in User management. If I make a change to a user profile and click "Save" it bounces to the main CB page without making the change. I tried to make changes in the Joomla Core User Manager and got a 403 - An error has occurred. Access Denied & Forbidden You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server.

I have tried reinstalling CB but no luck.

Help!!! I need to make edits to user level and other stuff but I am unable to do anything in User Management.

I am having the same problem, so instead of starting a new topic thought I would append my information. I am on:

Joomla 1.5.26
CB: 1.8.1
pHp: 5.2.17

1. Cannot add users from Backend
2. Can register users from front end, but can't edit entered users information from back end admin panel.
3. Users profiles entered earlier (perhaps before 1.8.1..but not sure) can be edited and saved.

In all instances where users cant added or edited the save button returns me to the CB home screen.

Looking for help in areas where to begin troubleshooting.

If you are running the Mailchimp integration for CB by Joomlamailer, the system plugin for joomlamailer is the issue. Kyle found it this morning.

Thanks so much!!!! I disabled the MailChimp integration plug in and I am now able to enter edit data successfully.
