How to do a private tab?

Hi, i need to create a private tab on profile. I want a tab that only can see by an admin or by its owner. Do you know how to do this?

2 way I can think of:

1 - put tab in a not for show profile position -> this way admins can see in backend and users can see if they edit their profile

2 - privacy plugin (membership needed)

P.S. please do not write subject with capital letters as it is typically thought of as yelling.
