issue with cb menu items under joomla 2.5

Hi,

I experience some issues on all cb menu item types under Joomla 2.5:

1. in Menu Manager: Menu Items all cb menu item types are listed as "Community Builder" only, regardless what type they are really. In Joomla 1.5.x this is different: there they are listed with correct type (e.g. 'Community Builder::Userslist' or 'Community Builder:: Userdetails' and so on)
2. Looking into Menu Manager: Edit Menu Item in Joomla 2.5 all cb Menu Item Types show 'Logout action' instead of the correct Type as they are shown under Joomla 1.5.x, and there are no further settings options available!
   
   Usually each Menu Item Type should have some settings, for example Type "Community Builder Userlist should have option to set list id and search mode. Under Joomla 1.5 such options are available, under Joomla 2.5 they are missing completely!
   
   

Please fix these issues or tell me how to fix them if you think that they only occur on my site.

It's really a shame how this company handles issue reports. I am going to write an review on jed to warn other people.

If you want support from CB Team specialist you will have to purchase a membership.

Regarding previous user issue - please check the readme file and search the forums as this issue has been discussed before many times.

1. I Do not want support, I just want a component that works as it should be.
2. You admit that it is a known bug! - at least partly. The other part of the issue is, that it seems not possible to link to a certain list by cb related menu item type anymore after updating to CB 1.9, because there is no such option anymore. This is also a regression/bug that should be fixed. It's not acceptable to ask people for money when they report issues. You should better fix them so that people do not have to report them

The component works fine. The problem is Joomla broke it. Not us. They dropped backwards compatibility for "task", which completely broke our XML menu usage which works fine in all previous Joomla releases. We've been working with Joomla to try and get this fixed. To fix it on our end will take a massive re-write of our usage from "task" to "view", which simply put is not acceptable and would break many websites so it's not going to happen in a 1.x release. This information is all over the forums as well as all over the web as we are not the only ones affected by it. The workaround is to create a Userlist menu item then edit the menu item row in _menus and append &listid=ID as needed or just use an External menu link.
