Upgraded Joomla v1.7 to v2.5.9 yesterday. I am running Community Builder v1.7.
When trying to register new user in admin site the following appears:

after clicking save.
Clicking save a second time results in a box which appears with the following message:
You cannot change the Group of this user to a group that is not a child of Registered or Manager as otherwise that user cannot login. If you really need to do that, you can do it in Joomla User Manager [/quote}
I would like to upgrade to Community Builder v1.9, however the upgrade instructions say this should be done prior to the Joomla upgrade (OOPS! Too Late)
- So my question is will the above messages "go away" after the CB 1.9 upgrade?
- Are these messages anything to be concerned with?
- And most importantly now that Joomla has been upgraded can I still upgrade CB to 1.9 without uninstall/reinstall?
If yes,
- do I need to step the upgrade from CB v1.7 to v1.8 to v1.9 or can I go straight from CB v1.7 to v1.9 without problems?
Again if yes, what are the steps for the least problems in the upgrade?
