Substitutions in Message to members was created by cevichero
Hello,

I want to send a message to all my members using the "Message number" button (Fr).
My question is:
What are the exact substitions put to appear First Name, Last Name, User ID and Password in the email?

I tried with [cb: userfield field = "username" /] but it does not work.

thaks a lot :)

Hello Nant,

I read this link and I tried with this text :

Bonjour [NAME],
Votre inscription a été approuvée par l'équipe. Voici vos paramètres de connexion au site :
[DETAILS]
[PASSWORD]

But PASSWORD doesn't works, why ?

Thanks !

Please search before post as this issue/question has been answered before (and once more now).

The password field is only recoverable in cleartext right after registration - after that it is hashed in the database.

Ok, I saw it now ! I'm sorry, my english is very bad...

I would like to send the password to all members of my site. Is impossible?

With the confirmation button, perhaps?
I did a test with confirmation and it works, I get good password but the system always told me: "Sent confirmation emails to 0 users'
While I have unchecked the 'Confirm' option for some users and I selected with the checkbox.

Is it a bug ?
thank you ^^

You cannot send existing passwords out to your members since they are encrypted in your Joomla database.

No it is not a bug.
