Password reset not functioning

Password reset not functioning was created by derekkoopowitz
If a user forgets their password and uses the "Forgot Login?" option and then selects "Lost Password", the password that is emailed to them does not allow the user to log on.

This used to work when I was on Joomla 1.5 (and CB 1.9) and now that I've upgraded to 2.5.13 using CB 1.9 it doesn't work.

I've even tried to manually go into the user record and set the password but this still does not allow a user to log on.

Any ideas?

works for me on my clean CB 1.9 / 2.5 tests.

I'm happy for you... but your answer does not help me one bit. I'm sure that if I installed CB clean on a new site it would work for me as well but I'm in a bind with this because if we manually reset user passwords they still can't log in.
