search option multi-select fields

Hey there,
I am using serveral multi-select fields.
When searching for a user, I noticed that one would have to search for the exact combination of entries to find user (i.e. it's an AND search). Is there also a way to change the settings so that one could search for anyone that has put a certain entry without knowing what else he has entered (i.e. ANY search)?

Have you tried editing the search criteria parameters in the backend? Log in to Joomla Admin > Components > Community Builder > List Management. From there scroll to the bottom of the page and find the box that says "List parameters" and change the Multi-Search Criteria as needed. save. Viola!
