i'm using CB1.9 and joomla 2.5, i would like to know if there is a possibility of viewing only few fields of others profile by registered users and i tried doing this by setting access levels. But then when i login through frontend as a registered user i'm unable to view my complete profile.

When you are setting up the field you have the option of showing on profile. You can select "no" to hide it or "yes" to display it.
CB also has a privacy plugin that the user can set their own rules on what is and what is not hidden. I have not used the privacy plugin myself so I can't guide you through it.
