Customized user list

Dear all,

at first, sorry for my bad english, but I hope you understand what I mean...

In our Club we would like to have a member list grouped by user group. We have a band with childrens and all band members are categorized over their instrument like "Trumpet", "Snare" ...

What we need is a mailing function to send mails only to one or more user groups to inform the band members and/or their parents about new scripts, appointments and more.

Do we have the possibility to use a plugin to have the functionality? What is the best way to have a mailing function?

Later we plan to use Kunena as a forum to have a discussion board. Which possibilities do we have to use CB and Kunena, is this a good idea?

Is it possible to create a user list design like this:

Trumpet
Lastname1, Firstname1 - Lastname2, Firstname2 - Lastname3, Firstname3 - Lastname4, Firstname4 - Lastname5, Firstname5

Snare
Lastname1, Firstname1 - Lastname2, Firstname2 - Lastname3, Firstname3 - Lastname4, Firstname4 - Lastname5, Firstname5

and so on...

We need a dynamic build list, not in a table design. And if possible, could we use mouseover to display a picture if the use move the maus over the names?

Grid user lists are planned for CB 2.0 unless you can make your own CB teamplate.
