Fields in list but not in profile

Fields in list but not in profile was created by sputum
Hi,

is it possible to show fields in list but not show them in the profile?
Everytime i sett the field value "not in profile" to yes, the field does not sho up in the list vreation dialog...

Place field on a tab that is positioned on a not for profile show position.

hi,

thx, that works. but for my admins not the optimal solution.
Fileds with access restirctions would be fine, is that a feature of 2.0 ?

A tab also has access restrictions.
