User curriculum vitae, how to add new project information like in the backend for multiselect fields?

Hello community,

I have a website with user profiles. The users want to display a list of projects with date, title, head of department, company etc. The only way I could think of having such a list in a profile was to create the needed fields per project. But this is a) very tedious work since I can´t find a way to simply copy fields and rename them, b) limits the number of projects to what I see fit, c) is not "sortable" (if someone puts a 2011 project before a 2013 project, the user has to delete a lot of data).

Does anybody know of a solution or has a hint at a simpler way to achieve a sortable list of projects where the fields are generated as needed i.e. a +button creating a new field like it is done in the backend for multiselect fields with adding new values?
