How can i open a tab in user profile with custom fields, collect the data and make it searchable?

Make a tab form CB Tab manager.
Make fields from CB Field Manager for this tab.
Mark each of these fields to be searchable.

Make a user list that shows these fields and is searchable.

I am trying to create an e-commerce site where users can POST & EDIT a specific list.
The list is created with CB Tab manager & CB Field Manager.
Where is the data will be collected & manipulated?
How can I make searchable categories, and what will be the best way to approach it.

All CB Field values for users are stored in the comprofiler table.

You can download the free CB API document (Free download area) that might prove helpful to you.

As mentioned before, you can create CB User lists that contain the fields you want and make the list searchable.
