Language specific login & logout redirection URL

I've seen a semi-answer to the following question, but it's quite old as well.
I have 2 languages on my site and would like a user to arrive at their language specific blog layout. Same goes for logging out. Is there a way to do this?

Can anyone help me out on this question?

This sounds like a pure Joomla question.

If Joomla is configured correctly (depends also on your Joomla version) then switching should happen automatically (at least I am pretty sure it should).

I've just noticed that the problem was with my test site which isn't online. I'm using relative addresses which won't resolve the language settings, since "en" etc. is included in the URL.
