On my CB site I'd like to accomplish this:
- Provide one simple search box to search all searchable fields of the CB profiles;
- Present the search results in the layout of the default user list.
Somehow it seems to me that this is not possible:
- When setting up a user list you can choose to show searchable fields. However, this shows all searchable fields separately and not just one search box.
- I tried the CB Search Plugin which shows a single search box indeed, and provides excellent search results. However, the results are presented in a different way than the user list.
We think that a different layout may create some confusion. Part of the information is public (we have profiles of storytelling performers) and a different layout may suggest that the content is different from that of the user list. Also, we've put some effort in customizing the layout of the user list so we'd like to reuse it when possible.
Hope you can help me out with this.
