For some reason our website running Joomla 2.5.28 and CB 1.9.1 started having 100's of users registering that are spam users.
We enabled captcha and make emails need to be confirmed but the fake registrations continue to go on.
Can we somehow log the ip address of the registrant and then block them if from one area? We suspect it might be from one area but don't know how to check the ip address.
What other effective ways are there to block this activity without shutting off our registration?
