Search criteria in header.?

Can some one please help me with my little problem, got stuck and I'm not sure how to go from here.
How do I get the search criteria in my header.?
I have it now like it's seen on the pic 1,
but how do I move it to my header like it's seen on my photoshoped pic 2.?

Can some one please tell me what to do or point me in the right direction.

Did manage to get the search criteria up to the header but the search button did not worked.
Now I'm back from the start again, can some one tell me how to do it correct.?

Everything is doable, but I believe that this would involve some coding and would really be out of scope of any membership level.
