[SOLVED] CB mails not working was created by ashkener
Hello,

New users do not receive the confirmation mail when registering. I checked this postt , tried to send myself a mail via user management, and it doesn't work neither.

Then your mailer settings are probably wrong. Fix your mailer settings within Joomla global management and use CB or Joomla mass mailer to test. For CB mass mailer just select your self so you don't email entire groups of people. Note if Joomla SMTP or Sendmail usages fail it'll fall back to php mailer where CB will simply error.

Thank you for your answer, Krileon.
On Joomla Global management, configuration>server, I tried to send myself a test email via sendmail and PHP, both worked. But if I try to send myself a mail via CB > users, the green bar goes up to 100% as if it worked but i receive no mail.

What am I doing wrong?

My apologizes, the problem is indeed not related to Community Builder, the admin just told me it used to happen before my CB install.

Thanks for your answer, it's still what helped me to understand.
