when you mention errors, am I likely to run into some with the code change I have done, or should I be ok for now to keep running it like this, seeing as everything seems to be working for the time being.
Your change is fine, but there could be other compatibility issues between the different Guzzle libraries. If it's working though it's probably safe to assume it's fine now. It's just strange you've an extension loading a newer version of Guzzle on a different components format=raw endpoint. Guessing their autoloader maybe picking it up. Additionally another option is to just not use reCaptcha as the other captcha methods do not need to make an HTTP call, but a fix is being prepared for release today.

Ok, added some fixes to CB AntiSpam, CB Connect, and CB Auto Actions for their Guzzle usages to try and be forward compatible. New builds for all 3 should be available now. This isn't a guarantee as I don't know the extent of the changes from Guzzle 4.x to 6.x so there could still be issues if a newer version loads.
