[SOLVED] New User email was created by yumasan
We do not get emails for new user sign ups.
We have each admin account set up to receive emails and we have our user settings to administrator approval, but no emails come thru when someone signs up.
How can we fix this?

Joomla 3? Joomla 4? Are emails working at all? Try sending an email to a moderator that should receive emails by using Mass Mailer in CB > User Management to see if emails are even working.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Joomla 3.9.25.
All other emails work. We have a webstore(e-store) that sends orders just fine, a newsletter that sends emails just fine.
Web forms (contact and sign up page) that works fine.
It only seems to be the new user sign up email that never comes thru.

Within CB > Configuration > Moderation ensure "Send Moderators Email" is set to "Yes". Ensure your moderators have whatever view access level you've set for "Moderators View Access Level". Next edit your moderator in CB > User Management and ensure "Receive Moderator Emails" is set to "Yes".

By new user email you mean the one that notifies moderators that a new user has registered correct? If so that email only sends after a user confirms their email address if you're using email confirmation. User approval also happens after email confirmation so you won't be notified to approve their registration until they confirm their email first.

@krileon I had to change the user group for the admins for it to work, but it appears to work now.
