Mass mail to all users get no email to users mailaddress

When a new user registers or get message they receive system email.

When I send a system email to all users, mail is not sent out to notify the users that they have a message from me in their pm.

I used to use Uddeim but recently switched since the integrated pm system is better to use now that the future of udde is unsure. Also, integrated version look very nice and work great. Only this one issue.

Is it designed like that or is it an error I can fix?

It doesn't send an email for global private messages as in most cases it would result in too many emails being sent and just crashing your server. We're looking at implementing a global mailer queue and/or supporting external email queue services in CB 3.x so we can prevent that.

Only solution I can think of at this time is to implement your own email notification on the pm_onAfterCreateMessage trigger using CB Auto Actions and ideally you'd just be calling some sort of external service as sending hundreds of emails for example all at once is not ideal.

Thanks for the answer. I actually just started using Acymailing that I already used a while for my webshops.

That is an even better solution as I can make the mails more exciting and have more people come and check it out.
