Thank you Nick for this nice new field-type that will allow many validations and database interactions at registration time.

Saw quite a few requests where this can be now used.

hello

If I'm not wrong this new plugin seem to match perfectly what I asked in my topic here:

www.joomlapolis.com/forum/90-sql-actions/182344-sql-action-when-registering--value-in-component#182580

I'm not sure if using this plugin I will be able to do what I need. In fact for what I read in your small wiki, all code can not be anywhere (that mean inside a third party component table) inside the Joomla database, but must be set specially for the use of CB registration.

Can you enlighten me ?

thank

I use Joomla 3.3.6 - CB 2.0.4 - CBSubs 4 - Several Incubator plugins

Currently this plugin must use the Joomla database.
It can use any table in the database.
So you should be able to execute your own specific SQL statements.

Great, just what I was looking for.
However, my sql skills are basic. Could someone post the SQL query that creates and populates the database in phpMyadmin as illustrated in the Wiki?
Once I have that, I can adapt it for my use. I can't write but I can hack :-)

Thanks,

Simon

Sorry, I do not understand the question.

The wiki has such queries, doesn't it?
