Looking back at the issues you reported - it does not look like there is something related to CB 2.0 that would be causing this.

I suggest you clone your site and do a test CB 2.0 upgrade on the cloned site - turn on Joomla debug to see what goes wrong if anything.

In this posting I had turned the error reporting to Development and got the errors quoted. Should I try again and see if anything is different?

I cannot replicate on a clean site.

You can assume that you have something currently installed on your CB 1.9.1 site (?) that is causing this issue.
