cb_login module fail w3c validation was created by kronky
Hello,

The new cb_login module (CB 1.4) failed w3c validation.

line 709-710 of cb_login.php should be
Code:
echo '<form action="'.$loginPost.'" method="post" id="' . $idFormLogin . '" class="cbLoginForm"'; echo ' style="margin:0px;">'."\n";

Instead of
Code:
echo '<form action="'.$loginPost.'" method="post" id="' . $idFormLogin . '" class="cbLoginForm"'; echo 'style="margin:0px;">'."\n";

Difference is in line 710 : echo ' Style=' instead of 'Style='

Can't confirm your issue. Please ensure you're using CB 1.4 login module. Have confirmed it validates perfectly fine logged in and logged out. Could you please provide your modules configuration so can attempt to duplicate? Please also provide your validation method (recommended and used validator.w3.org/ ).

I can confirm his issue. My site validates perfectly fine in W3C with CB login 4.1 disabled. As soon as I activate it, I get these errors. It most certainly references this module as the trigger.

Validation Output: 6 Errors

1. Error Line 225, Column 80: attributes construct error

…sms379/component/comprofiler/login" method="post" id="mod_loginform" class="cb…

2. Error Line 225, Column 80: Couldn't find end of Start Tag form line 225

…sms379/component/comprofiler/login" method="post" id="mod_loginform" class="cb…

3. Error Line 241, Column 15: Opening and ending tag mismatch: div line 223 and form

</table></form> </div>

4. Error Line 248, Column 6: Opening and ending tag mismatch: body line 214 and div

</div>

5. Error Line 815, Column 8: Opening and ending tag mismatch: html line 2 and body

</body>

6. Error Line 816: Extra content at the end of the document

</html>

Good find, thank you for troubleshooting and proposing correct fix.

I can confirm the missing space in CB login module 1.4.

Cleaning a bit the source code for 1.4 broke the html...my fault, sorry :S

#2433.

Fixed for next release.
