really cannot help with localhost debugging and migrations.

If you can replicate on a live server with clean installs, then I can take a look.

Well my scenario is the following:

I have a J1.5 installation with a existing userbase on CB1.7.
Now I want to migrate to J1.7 but want to keep my userbase and copy them over to the new installation.

When copying the tables from my 1.5 database (all comprofiler tables as well as the joomla userdatabase) over to the new system, I am no longer able to access any of the 3 tabs mentioned.

Would it help if you get access to the site or get the J1.7 site as an Akeeba Backup Archive?

Thanks for your willingness to help! I really appreciate it a lot!

Hi,

I have the exact same problem. "Internal server error" with administration tabs I can only access list, plugin and tool. On frontend, i can log in and log out.

I am working on my first J1.7 website. It is a new website from scratch. Nothing from a J1.5.
On the same hosting, I have another website running with J1.5 and CB1.7 without any problem.

Any idea?
Nicolas

Please look at our FAQ area for instructions about debugging such issues.

Fact that things work on same host clearly indicate its not a CB potential bug

I am sorry but don't find any solution in the FAQ.
The closest problem could be the memory stuff.
"Depending on your plugins, 32 MB or more might be required."
In my php information : memory_limit = 32M
I tried unpublishing all plugins, no result.

I may be wrong, but my understanding is the opposite.
If the host is the same with same parameters, why/how could it be responsible ?

Internal server error leaves a trace in your webserver error log - suggest you investigate yours.
