comprofiler_lists does not exist error on clean install

I recently migrated a Joomla system to 3.0

I uninstalled CB and all the tables are gone.

I went to install com_comprofiler.zip and after the file uploads, I get this error:

Table 'xxxx_joomlatv21.j25_comprofiler_lists' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW COLUMNS FROM `j25_comprofiler_lists`

I had hoped it would just add the necessary tables during install.
I copied older comprofiler tables and when I install, I get a different table error.

What do I need to do in order to get the install to work?


UPDATE:

I'm running Joomla 2.5.14 and have been attempting to install the latest version of CB which is 1.9

I have tried the install several times and always get the same error right after the file uploads.

Any help would be appreciated

The SQL error code I got was 1146.

I googled that and Joomla and it turns out it is a fairly common issue. It turns out I had com_comprofiler folders in Admin/components and components. I guess it doesn't check or something. No idea if there was a partial install earlier. Perhaps a filecheck would be in order. not sure if that is even possible though

Once I deleted those folders, the install went without a hitch.
