I've recently noticed a weird thing concerning the avatar upload :
Normally, when you upload a new avatar, 3 files are created in images/comprofiler directory :
- 928_54b513409d41d.jpg
- thumb_928_54b513409d41d.jpg
- tn928_54b513409d41d.jpg
This works fine with png, gif and jpg files.
BUT, with .JPEG file, the second file is not created.
I only get 2 files :
- 928_54b513409d41d.jpeg
- tn928_54b513409d41d.jpeg
I've been searching for hours the function which creates the thumbnails, in order to see why the JPEG file doesn't work, whereas the JPG file works perfectly...
Does anyone know how to fix this issue ?
Only the fullsize and thumbnail of an image is stored. Your thumb_ is a completely different image. There's absolutely no difference between .jpg and .jpeg unless your server is on a massively old windows install that only supports 3 letter extensions. Something is wrong with your browser, server, or external conflict (plugin, extension, etc..).
