no Allow Client resize field was created by marsu_3
as you can see in the browsershot, in my installation the new field "allow user resize" is missing?

Any suggestion?

It's a field parameter and not a global image parameter. Edit your image fields within CB > Field Management to enable or disable client side resizing.

Thank you very much.

I think the new feature "allow user resize" is a big step in the right direction but very basic for the moment.

As an example, when i have an group photograph and i want to crop one person etc.

Did you think about using an external jquery script?

There are pretty good plugins also published under MIT-License for commercial usage like croppic

Detailed cropping like that will not be added. The cropping is to ensure the image stays within the image fields sizing limitations. It was mainly added for avatar and canvas usages (same usage as seen on Facebook, etc..). Client side resizing was added as it significantly reduces the image processing strain on servers. CB Gallery won't have cropping at all. If you want to edit a photo in detail then I suggest editing it before uploading (you can do this easily both on PC and on mobile devices).
