Hi, don't know if anyone else has seen this, we have a site where the standard welcome email is being sent out again when a user is added to a new Group in Joomla. Why
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Regards,
Chris White.

It shouldn't send it out again. It shouldn't send anything out during edits unless there was a state change from pending approval to approved for example. Ensure it's not Joomla's being sent. Within System > Plugins edit "User - Joomla!" and toggle off "Notification Mail to User".

Thank you. Yes it was the plugin causing the second email to be sent. Interesting it only sends it a second time not a third if you change groups again. We have our own registration handler working with RSForm! Pro and that is using the same template. It has taken 3 or 4 hours to sort out but we got there in the end. Disable to plugin and it all goes back to normal.
