Limited date range

Hi,
I noticed that using the date drop down function in a form, the year backwards is limited to 49 years.
I.e. at this moment I cannot selected a year that lies before 1951
Which is kind of awkward when I want to register somebodies birthdate for example, which could be somewhere before 1951

Is there a simple way to fix/bypass this?

That's just the default range. You can have whatever range you like. Edit your date field in CB > Field Management then under Parameters > Validation you can adjust the minimum and maximum year range.
