[SOLVED] User expiration was created by versadial
I want to be able to expire my users when their support agreement expires. CBSubs looks like the tool to accomplish this. Is there any way of trying this out and seeing how it works before purchasing?

Expire users? You mean changing their status to blocked or not activated? Easily done with SQL Actions integration to run a query to change a user to blocked or change their activation status.

There is no live usable demo, all purchases do come with a 30 day money back guarantee however.

Thank you for the reply.
Yes, I simply want to have users who register to become deactivated automatically after 1 year. It's part of their 1 year support agreement. Can this be automated through the use of CBSubs? I am not looking to manually perform SQL actions. It will also be nive if I can be notified when users are automatically deactivated, if automatic deactivation is possible.
Cheers,
Scot

Ensure the plan lasts 1 year. Create an SQL Actions for "DEACTIVATION". Then use the Email integration to send you an email (you can easily specify who the email is sent to as well as its contents).

Example SQL:
UPDATE `#__users` SET `block` = 1 WHERE `id` = [user_id]

Excellent. For clarification, since I am just beginning to set up this system, will I be needing CBSubs? Currently I only have Community Builder installed. Also, will I need a plugin to perform the email integration you were speaking of? If so, which one?
Cheers,
Scot

Yes of course you need CBSubs to setup the subscriptions, execute the query using SQL Actions (provided with CBSubs package as a CBSubs plugin) and Email integration (provided with CBSubs package as a CBSubs plugin) to send the email.
