we are interested on buy a license of CBSubs for our Joomla website and we would really appreciate if you can give us some ideas about our requirement.
We would like to know if it is possible to have two different joomla sites, each one with an installation of CBSubs, but with the ease of implement the subscription rules for our users in one site and simply sync, automatically reply or simply make the second site to read the CBSubs tables from the first site, in order to have a coherent user access logic in both sites.
One site is a joomla site to access mainly to documents through a docman implementation and the second is a joomla site to broadcast some videos. There is a link between the docs and the videos that the same user can access in each site, according to its subscriptions.
Basically, what we would avoid is double administration of the subscription rules.
Don't know about syncing the two databases together, I believe this has been done by way of Joomla extension, you'll have to search. As far as CBSubs supporting it, it's untested. However, both sites being live you'll be required to have 2 licenses.
