[SOLVED] licence

One question.

From what I read cbsubs include in fact 2 site licence - one main and second test. How you separate main site from testing site ? as for example I have several test sites which looks like real sites... ?

I personally think cdsubs is quite expensive piece of script. It should be licensed at least for 2 live sites ( not one live and one testing) for its price. For people in "western" countries price is prolly fair but Im from eastern europe and here is this price reaaaaaly expensive .

You are indeed given a Live site and Test/Development site with each license. Internal code is able to distinguish what's what (sorry can not provide details on inner workings of its license checking).

The price and model was up for negotiation before CBSubs launched for quite some time and this is the price and model determined by the public to be most appealing/affordable.

I can understand your frustration, but also understand CBSubs main goal is allow capable subscriptions on your site. In theory these subscriptions are in place to earn you income. CBSubs price, one time price I might add, is quite marginal in what your income potential is as the license is lifetime.

ok...just wandering how script decide if its live site or not ...because it can be very difficult in many cause to decide but undrstand you will not post it here . I think it will be much better if you simply include 2 site licenses for your basic price and people can use them for whatever they need ...live, test ... whatever... With 2 full sites licenses price can be considered by me as okay...

I understand your point regarding income made from paid subscriptions but the problem is that many people ( for example me) want use cbsubs only for access restrictions - I will be using only several free subscriptions to restrict users access to some modules or articles or downloads. Basically it will be free community site without any paid subscriptions so thats why its so expensive for me.
Price is okay for sites which really makes money but for personal sites, small business and free community site price is really high. Most of peiple incl students etc... will not have money to pay that much for just one license. Of course I can buy some cheaper component for access control only - without paid subscriptions but most of those extensions hack joomla core so I dont want that...
If I will run some porn site which makes me thousnads of dollars on paid subscriptions than price is okay at all of course...

Maybe at least some really good discount for second license will be good ...like 50% off for activate live license on 2 site....
I really dont think current prices are fair to all - they are fair only to people who will heavily use subscriptions... for rest ....expensive...
