cbsubs cost

Hi,

I asked a question about restricted membership lists in the community builder forum www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,38/func,view/catid,100/id,120900/#120900 and cbsubs was suggested as the best solution.

Whilst it really looks excellent it appears to be aimed profit making sites that are selling membership or content. Is there a lower cost "community license" for none profit making organisations that are not charging for site membership or content?

The pricing model is more or less terms is set in stone. It was initially planned to use a pay as you use type model, but this is the pricing model CBSubs was released with based on user feedback. There is no discount for non-profits to my knowledge, sorry. Non-profits generally sustain based on a giving community, I recommend suggesting users donate to recuperate the expense?

Thanks for the info. We are a very small club (<100 members) and we have enough trouble getting members to pay their annual national athletics affiliation fee, which is compulsory if they are to compete. I fear that if I relied on donations the only person donating would be me.

Shame as the more I read about CBSUBS the better it looks. Will continue my search for a solution to the problem that fits my budget.

Sorry, I can not comment on this matter. At any rate the coupon system is not in place to allow something to be simply and efficiently implemented. As for personal opinion I do agree with a New Years discount.
