I have a client who needs to include some processing on their registration forms.
Essentially they need to grab the postcode information and then in the background associate that detail with pre-defined regions as in
postcode=4678
region therefore = region 1.
This particular application is for marketing purposes but it could be used for route planning or sales territories.
Is this something that is achievable in subs and if so where do I start?
You're wanting to pre-fill a field at registration based on URL? If this is the case then no this is not what CBSubs does; you would need a custom CB plugin to achieve this. Please see tutorials in signature for Trigger usage in CB plugins as you'd need to utilize one to accomplish this.
