I have searched for duplicate in the forum, but only found that duplicate can be a problem.
Is there any duplicate detection service or tool in CB or CBSubs? If yes, how does it work? Does the system check name and address, name and birth date or e-mail address?
We need this for an association with over 30 000 members where the members are subscribing, unsubscribing and subscribing again. If an old subscriber re-subscribes with a new subscription we want to merge the old and the new subscription.
Sorry, no there is no duplication detection. If a user unsubscribes then resubscribes it will reactivate the subscription. However whatever time from their previous subscription remained is gone for good. You can disable unsubscribeing if you like within CBSubs > Settings > Display > Unsubscribe.
