Combining both also works as the Advanced package has extra nice add-ons and priority support forum access for any related issue (CB, CBSubs, etc).
CBSubs should be able to handle your use case - although you would need to explain better about what you mean by: "Little more than Above"
With CBSubs you can protect access to any Joomla content element (article, section, category, component, module, menu) and require a subscription for access to it.
