Paper-based to electronic system

I am looking to move an existing paper-based annual membership subscription system to the web and CBsubs is looking like the way to go. I will need to transfer all existing membership subscriptions to CBsubs - as these members have already paid their annual subscriptions, I will need to set them up with accounts with appropriate membership end-dates and obviously without charging them again. I presume that this is not a problem to do in CBsubs but could someone please confirm this.

Also (and this is probably the answer to the above) can an administrator circumvent the payment process by creating a new member directly in CBsubs, supplying all the details that would usually be collected at registration but without having to supply any payment details?

CBSubs comes with an Import feature. Using properly formatted text files you could mass import subscriptions for your users.

Users must first exist within CB before they can have a subscription in CBSubs, but yes you can create users and subscriptions from backend without needing the payment process.
