Presales info... CB + CBSubs

Hi,

This is what I need to do:
- to show to the user a few articles/items (organized by caregories)
- to choose which articles can see every user or group of users
- In each article I post the description and maybe one or more sample images of an editorial product (it can be an advertising, newspaper articles, brochures, etc.) and must give the possibility to download the PDF (or other format) of the final product upon payment of the product.
- I'd like to give the possibility to pay in more ways ... I do not know how many are still good ... but surely paypal and credit cards.. not only with paypal.
- I don't need subscription packages ... I just need to make them pay for the file they download.

Can I do this with CB and CBSubs? :blink:

Most of what you are describing (articles, etc) are core Joomla features.

With CBSubs, you can have merchandise plans (instead of subscriptions) that can integrate with download extensions (example DOCman or Remository) and grant the purchaser access to your downloadable electronic goods (e.g., pdf file).

What do you mean by merchandise plans?
So I can't set the price for the single file to make them downloadable after the payment?

CBSubs supports 4 types of plans:

1. Subscription plan (has a price and a duration) - example VIP plan costs 10 USD per Year
2. Merchandise plan (has a price) - example Product A costs 100 USD
3. DOnation plan

Yes, you can set a merchandise plan price and unlock downloading after payment.

Unlocking can be done in many ways.

Either using a download extension (DOCman or Remository) - this is the most secure method.

You can also automatically attach the package to email message sent automatically after payment confirmation.
