Capturing User Interests was created by billybobcory
We want to capture our members' interests as they register. What do I use within coummunity builder to capture the following information:
Also we want to trigger on the specific interests of individuals.

We need the following fields:

• Last Name
• First Name
• Address Line 1
• Address Line 2
• City
• State
• Zip Code (include enough space for Zip + 4)
• Land Line Phone Number
• Cell Phone Number
• Email Address
• Birth Date (Month and day are fine, don’t need the year, but if we have to, can we put the current year without a “date check” on the field?)
• Activities:

I WOULD LIKE Radio Buttons that the user could select to show their interests.

o Bike
o Bowl
o Camp
o Kayak
o Volley Ball
o Games
o Pinochle
o Hike
o Rafting
o Theater/Plays
o Dancing
o Dining Out
o Fishing
o Golf
o Horse Back Riding
o Movies
o Ice Skate
o Motorcycle riding
o X-Country ski
o Downhill ski
o Tennis
o Racquet Ball
o Volunteering

Just create new CB fields for the items that are not already configured.
With CB you can do this.

CB supports the following built-in field types:

- text
- date
- textarea
- editor area
- single checkbox (yes/no)
- Multiple checkbox
- Single drop down
- Multiple drop-down
- integer
- delimiter
- image

You can also add more fieldtypes and get more add-ons and detailed CB documentation by subscribing to one our membership plans:

OK I signed up for the Professional Membership. The reason is that I'm looking for documentation on how to do the radio buttons. Do you recommend a particular document to start with. I don't want "information overload". Thanks

Cool.

You are no an Advanced member (not Professional).
You have access to the CB Documentation from the Advanced Download area.

OK. See my attachment. I've made some progress in adding interests, but now I another problem. Can I somehow change to a Forum where I can get Advanced Membership support, so I don't have to retype all this in another Forum.
