Member Directory was created by Grego606
I am managing a group of 36 people. Members are added and drop out so I need something easy for new people to figure out.

The members need a profile page that can link to their site.

Do you believe Community Builder is a good solution for us?

regards,

CB is free - you can download it and test it to see if it fits your use case.

Users have profiles and profiles can have web site fields.

My site is a simple directory of members. Almost all CB functions are deactivated. I offer you to see his/her profile video and other data. BUT! If you want to contact that member, his email, phone#'s and facebook URL, then you must pay a dollar for each member you want to contact.

How is this coding accomplished?

If this is the case, then maybe you should look at directory extensions instead of CB.

Thanks Nick but can you send a link please? I don't understand this and want to give the link to my India outsource coder. Even here in Joomlapolis I don't see a link to directory extensions.

If each entry in your directory of members is a website user, then you can use CB for this.

If not then you should look at directory extensions like Mosetree or SOBI.
