upgrade to pro was created by phal

i have joomla 1.5 and CB 1.7, if I buy the pro and upgrade to Joomla 2.5 will I be able to migrate the CB database?

The CB Quickstart PRO package is available for Professional members.
It works on Joomla 2.5.

You will need to upgrade first to CB 1.8.1 and then use the latest jupgrade extension to migrate to Joomla 2.5.6.
