membership features management

Hi !

I've to create a website that allow users to buy some additional features on their profiles

example:

- basic profile contains 3 photos but the user can buy some more for a fixed duration ( 1,3 or 12 monthes)

Can you tell me if this kind of thing is feasible based on CB user profile management ?

You can use CBSubs to charge people for subscriptions on your site.

Subscription plans can have durations as you want them (1,3, 12 months, etc).

You can configure things with CB Gallery plugin to give people more image quotas depending on the plan they are in.

But when plan end quota will be lowered, but existing photos will not be removed (you would need to modify gallery code to do this).

unfortunately, the subscription plan does not encount all my needs, I really need to offer diffent options to the subscriber.

- 1 banner A
- 1 banner B

Impossible to propose subscription list with all the options case.

I have to offer the client the capability to register into different categories.

each category has a price and there is special price to appears into 2 categories and another price to appears into 3 categories.

Once registered, the user has the capability to buy more options : pictures/videos/...

So if I want to manage this kind of website with a membership system, I have to create a big list of different kind of membership to propose all the options mix.

- 1 category / no pictures / no videos
- 2 categories / no pictures / no videos
- 3 categories / no pictures / no videos
- 1 category / 6 pictures 1 month / no videos
- 1 category / 6 pictures 3 month / no videos
- 1 category / 12 pictures 1 month / no videos
- 1 category / 12 pictures 3 month / no videos
- 1 category / 6 pictures 1 month / 1 video
- 1 category / 6 pictures 3 month / 1 video
- 1 category / 12 pictures 1 month / 1 video
- 1 category / 12 pictures 3 month / 1 video
...
- 2 categories / 6 pictures / no videos
...
- 3 categories / no pictures / no videos
...

Very difficult to manage et to present to the client.

I am assuming that by category you mean subscription plan.
Then each subscription plan is specified as non-exclusive - means that someone can be subscribed to plan 1 (cat 1) and plan 2 (cat 2) at the same time.


you lost me with your category/photo/video list.
