Does CBSubs work with shared ssl

Hi,
We are looking into using Cbsubs but I would lilke to know if you can use shared ssl or do we need to get ssl certificate etc?

What do you exactly mean by "shared ssl" ?
For which use do you think you need SSL ?

In CBSubs, most processors do not require SSL on your site, as they use their own site with their own SSL for collecting the financial data. Only CBSubs's Authorize.net gateway with AIM requires an SSL certificate on own site for PCI-DSS compliance.

By shared SSL I mean using the SSL certificate the host have. Being with Rochen hosting they have shared sll - server.rochen.com/~username

I thought to be able to setup to accept payment via a payment gateway (we will be using eWay) you need to have SSL – similar to when you have a shoppingcart?

Only single payments is implemented in eWay. We're also using the "Shared Payments" API, which is basically hosted payment pages like with PayPal Basic. In short you do not need SSL for our implementation of eWay; it is only needed for Direct Payment API, which we are not using.
