Will CBConnect install on CB 1.4

Will CBConnect install on CB 1.4 was created by asif123
I have Community Builder 1.4 installed on my website since many months. It is stable and working. I am afraid to upgrade it to new version.
Now I am interested to install CBConnect so that uses can login through social plugin i.e Twitter, Linkedin, FaceBook etc.
Please advise.

You need to upgrade to CB 1.9 in order to use CB Connect.

If you are on Joomla 1.5 (I am assuming) its just a simple install over (just take backup as always for safety).

You need to provide Joomla version for proper upgrade procedures. We've also outlined various upgrade procedures within the upgrade and installation documentation provided with the CB package. No CB Connect will not work on CB 1.4. As Nick stated if you're on Joomla 1.5 you'd just install CB and it'll auto upgrade (make a backup first!).

If I upgrade then what about my existing Configuration; Will it remain intact and I donot have to do it again; I hope other components such as Easy Blog and Sobi2 will not be affected. What do you say.

PHP Built on: Linux 2.6.18-028stab101.1 #1 SMP Sun Jun 24 19:50:48 MSD 2012 i686

Database Version: 5.0.77

Database Collation: utf8_general_ci

PHP Version: 5.1.6

Web Server: Apache

Web Server to PHP interface: apache2handler
