Is CBSubs suitable for people to register for an event and make online payments (Paypal, Ogone,...) for this event?
I was looking for this specific feature in the list, but couldn't find it.
I suppose it is possible to define an event as a one or two day subscription, for example.
Any thoughts?

If you can manage your events as subscription plans, then yes.
If you need to manage many events that have specific requirements (capacity, etc.), then you should probably be looking at an events extension that supports payments.
