advanced search

I am thinking of subscribing to CBPro but I can not find much information on search features including how search result is displayed, if it can be customised, create profile within a profile for example for family members to be displayed with captioned photos and their personal information like school, hobbies etc.
Screen shots and tutorials and features section don't mention details of advanced search function . I have to decide if I still have to buy third party plugin for advanced search.

I too have the same question but I have already purchased the package but can not locate the documentation.

The search plugin is a Joomla plugin that when installed, configured and published it will allow the Joomla search function (needs the joomla search module to be enabled on your site) to search in CB profiles also and return results.

You just install the plugin and select which fields you want it to search on, make sure these fields are also configured to be searchable in your CB Fields manager area. That's it.

Please note that Advanced/Professional members can post questions and issues in the relevant forums and specialists will help out.

Sorry that I have not made my question about advanced search very clear. Core function of my website is to create a directory of our community members who will complete the registration on community Builder plugin . Joomla core search function will be disabled as the search function will be only for the registered members who have logged in and searching for other members satisfying the search criteria by selecting multiple profile fields but looking at CB tutorial or the the screen shots I can not make out how advanced is the core CB search feature and how customisable is the search result display function is. I would prefer to have these information before buying a pro membership to decide if I need a third part CB plugin like CB Advanced search - link here. cbadvancedsearch.com/ . If CB itself meets my needs then I do not have to purchase this third party plugin.
