I have to do a contest joomla (2.5) site
the contests are about images. and I suppose two levels of profiles: the ones who open a new contest and the user who partecipate.
what I would do is that profile_1 can create his contest and manage the photo that will be uploaded under that folder/contest.
profile_2 the same.
user_1 could upload foto to contest_1 and contest_2, but can't open new contest o manage one.
I searched some image component, but none can do that fine profiling. someone suggest me to use CBPro.
is it possibile to this?
I am not sure CB is a good fit for your use case - at least not by itself.
With Professional membership you can use the CB Conditional plugin to have 2 flavors of profiles - and you can have an image field in your profiles also.
I guess voting could be done with a rating field.
Maybe you should also look at a directory extension if you need to support multiple contests by same user.
