Here is my scenario. I am in the process of formulating a game plan to launch a website for a start-up software company based off of an expert system. We plan on selling physical and digital copies, as well as subscriptions with free updates, enhanced support, and 'ask the expert' forums.
I know I am going to start with Joomla as the core. I've been scouring the web for all available solutions, and so far I've come up with using Virtuemart to sell the product and Kunena to run our forum.
Here is my question. Can I use Community Builder with CBSubs to automate paid access to the 'Enhanced Support' and 'Ask an Expert' sections of the site that will be run on Kunena? Also, how will it integrate with Virtuemart? For instance, can Community Builder differentiate between a new customer and a customer who already made a purchase using Virtuemart (to offer subscription discounts, etc...)?
